摘要：Building information modeling (BIM) is relatively slow in China in the early 21st century, and its practical application was only used in one stage of a project. Accordingly, the specific application of BIM in each stage was analyzed based on the advantages and values of BIM, and then the BIM framework was established in the whole life cycle of construction projects. According to the situation of BIM in China and the successful experience of BIM development in other countries, the problems of BIM application in China were identified, and corresponding measures were put forward to ensure better implementation of BIM in the whole life cycle. This study would provide reference for promoting the application of BIM in the whole life cycle of construction projects in China.
