摘要：在线协作学习是学习分析技术的重要应用领域。教师作为协作学习的指导者,在协作学习中扮演着重要的角色但也面临巨大的挑战。面对众多的学习者和复杂的任务,教师难以及时了解协作学习情况,便不能有效地指导学习。随着学习分析技术的发展,可视化学习分析工具成为研究热点。本研究通过梳理现有可视化学习分析相关理论和支持,提出了可视化工具的设计原则。并在此原则的基础上,设计了KBS-T可视化工具。同时,研究采用准实验的方法研究了教师对工具的接受度以及工具在教学过程中对教师认知负荷的影响。结果表明,教师对工具有较高的接受度,认可工具的功能和作用,愿意进一步使用工具;并且,可视化工具对于教师认知负荷没有显著的提升,可以支持教师更好地开展教学。本研究尝试为提升可视化工具设计的科学性,以及提升工具的用户体验提供理论和实践支持。
Learning analytics is widely used in online collaborative learning(OCL).Teachers,as facilitators,play an important role in OCL,and at the same time,face unprecedented challenges.In the context of a large number of learners and complex tasks,it is very difficult for the teachers to follow the learners??performance,hence unlikely to give timely feedback and scaffolding.This article elaborates currant learning analytics theories and presents design principles for a visual learning analytics tool,KBS-T Visualization Tool.In the quasi-experiment,study of the teachers??acceptance and the cognitive load of the tool on the teachers shows that there is a high acceptance among the teachers,who recognize the functions and performance of the tool and are willing to continue to use it,and that the visualizing tool does not add much to the teachers cognitive load.This study provides theoretical and practical reference for improving design and user experience of such visualizing tools.
