摘要：随着全球经济一体化的发展 ,英语已经逐渐成为一种跨越国界、民族和文化的全球性强势语言 ,正在日益得到普及。英语大众化发展是人们务实的价值取向 ,是新时代的要求和英语语言的特殊性所决定的 ,它对区域经济的发展具有重要意义。就河南经济而言 ,其积极作用主要表现在进出口贸易。
This article attempts to argue that the coming of globalization has bro ught English language into the unprecedented worldwide attention. It has been wi dely used as a global language going beyond its limitation of boundary, ethnic a nd culture. People's new and practical perspective of life in the new age and the unique linguistic characteristics of English attribute to the popularizatio n of this global language. It has a great effect on the development of regional economy, especially on Henan's economy in terms of international trade, cooperat ion and tourism
