摘要：2020年中国消除绝对贫困后,反贫困的工作重心将转移到解决相对贫困问题上来。教育作为人力资本提升的重要表现形式,对促进经济增长具有重要意义。基于此,本文搜集整理了中国2000—2018年30个省份的面板数据,系统考察教育扩展与教育分化对城镇相对贫困的影响。研究发现:(1)教育扩展减缓了城镇相对贫困,教育分化加剧了城镇相对贫困,并且结论具有稳健性;(2)分组检验发现高收入组中教育扩展和教育分化对相对贫困的影响更显著。最后,根据本文的研究结论,提出促进教育扩展和教育公平的政策建议。
After the elimination of absolute poverty in China in 2020, the focus of anti-poverty has been shifted to solving the problem of relative poverty. As an important way to promote human capital, education plays an important role in promoting economic growth. Based on this, this paper collects and sorts out the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2000 to 2018, and systematically examines the impact of educational expansion and educational differentiation on urban relative poverty. The results show that:(1) the expansion of education slows down the relative poverty of cities and towns, and the differentiation of education aggravates the relative poverty of cities and towns, and the conclusion is robust;(2) the grouping test shows that the influence of education expansion and education differentiation on relative poverty in high-income group is greater. Finally, according to the conclusion of this paper, some policy suggestions are put forward to promote education expansion and education equity.
