摘要：运用辩证分析的方法，对沃尔夫的语言决定论和语言相对论的观点，从社会语言学、语用学。语义学、语法学等角度探讨其语言观的形成和发展，既肯定其对现代语言学的重要贡献，又指出其观点的不足之处。
This paper aims to investigate the theoretical basis of Whorf's linguistic views from the angles of sociolinguistics, pragmatics, semantics and grammar, etc. It affirms Whorf's important contribution to cognitive theory of language, and also discusses the weak points of his views by means of dialectical analysis.
