摘要:跨文化交际和教学中需要关注交际用语的跨文化差异。由于中、西方文化因素的影响,英、汉称赞应答语之间存在很大差异。该研究目的在调查中英文称赞应答语的不同特点,采取定性和定量相结合的方法,对比分析其策略选择的差异并探索其产生的原因,力求在跨文化外语教学中得到实践启示。
Cultural differences should be noticed during intercultural communication and teaching. There are enormous differences between Chinese and English compliment responses due to the influences from the eastern and western cultural elements. The study aims at investigating the characteristics of Chinese and English compliment responses. It adopts the qualitative and quantitative methods to compare and analyses the difference between them, trying to explore the reasons which lead to these differences. The thesis tends to achieve practical inspiration in foreign language teaching.
