摘要：美国经济学家卡德因为“对劳动经济学的实证研究贡献”获得了2021年诺贝尔经济学奖。卡德的研究贡献主要集中于运用实证方法研究最低工资标准如何影响就业水平、移民如何影响劳动力市场、教育投资对经济产生什么样的影响,从而推动了实证研究的“革命”。同时,卡德的研究也推翻了传统西方经济学的观点。从马克思主义政治经济学的视角探究卡德的学术思想可以看到,西方主流经济学具有天生的缺陷,包括表面化、个人主观性、片面性、虚伪性和辩护性等方面。
The American economist John Card received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2021 for his“contributions to the empirical study of labor economics”.Card's research contributions focus on the use of empirical methods to study the impact of the minimum wage on employment,the impact of immigration on the labor market,and the impact of investment in education,which contributed to a“revolution”in empirical research.Card's research,on the other hand,overturns the traditional Western economic viewpoint.By analyzing Card's academic thought from the perspective of Marxist political economy,we can see that Western Mainstream Economics has natural defects such as superficiality(i.e.,vulgarity),subjectivity,one-sidedness,hypocrisy,and defensiveness.
