摘要:新冠疫情背景下,社交媒体中的工作-生活打断问题愈加凸显,员工往往会采取主动措施应对网络社交的侵扰。本研究将员工主动采取社交媒体上可用的措施以实现网络社交选择性规避的行为定义为策略性网络社交回避。基于资源保存理论,本研究提出社交媒体中的工作-生活打断会导致社交媒体倦怠,进而引起员工的策略性网络社交回避。而社交媒体嵌入不仅强化了社交媒体倦怠对策略性网络社交回避的正向影响,而且强化了社交媒体倦怠的中介机制。通过对326名员工样本进行分析,本研究提出的理论假设获得了数据支持。研究结果有助于理清员工主动回避行为的形成机理,对管理者引导员工的社交媒体使用具有指导作用。
In the context of COVID-19, the interruption of work and life in social media has become a serious problem. At this time, employees tend to take proactive strategies to deal with the intrusion of online social networking. This study defines strategic online social avoidance as the behavior of employees who actively adopt available strategies on social media to achieve selective avoidance of online social networking. Based on the resource conservation theory, this study proposes that work-life interruptions in social media can lead to social media burnout, which in turn leads to employees’ strategic online social avoidance. However, social media embedding not only strengthens the positive effect of social media burnout on strategic online social avoidance, but also strengthens the mediating mechanism of social media burnout. The theoretical hypothesis proposed in this study is supported by data from a sample of 326 employees. The results of this study can help clarify the formation mechanism of employees’ active avoidance behavior and provide guidance for managers to guide employees’ use of social media.
